Musicians without Borders
Musicians without Borders will be performing during the closing session of the Conference.
Musicians without Borders (MwB) is an international network of musicians who use the power of music to contribute to building peaceful, multicultural societies. Based in the Netherlands, Musicians without Borders now has regional offices in Sarajevo,Bosnia-Herzegovina and Chicago, USA. Musicians without Borders has initiated many successful projects in the Balkans and serves a network of musicians in Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In the Netherlands, MwB uses music to build bridges between people of different cultural origins.
Many musicians and ensembles volunteer their time, energy and talent to supporting the work of Musicians without Borders. Today’s performers include the vocal ensemble LeLeMam and international women’s choir, Mihira, accompanied by an ad hoc instrumental ensemble of MwB teachers and performers.
