  • Seba Cultuurmanagement bv

Seba Cultuurmanagement bv is a consultancy specialized in diversity management since 1997. It is the first consultancy in Europe to specialize in diversity management.

Companies today face the challenges of a changing society and globalizing economy. In order to remain successful the importance of diversity management skills can no longer be ignored. More and more organisations realise that they have to increase their knowledge and skills to adapt to a diverse workforce in which the talents of every individual are optimally utilized.

Seba’s director, Grethe van Geffen, came into contact with Common Ground at the Fifth Diversity Conference in Beijing, China in 2005. Since then a fruitful collaboration has developed. The collaboration has resulted in the organisation of a Diversity Week in the beautiful, cosmopolitan city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Amsterdam has always been a diverse city where different cultures and nationalities live side-by-side.

The theme of Diversity Week 2007 will be ‘Turning Diversity into Prosperity’ (see www.diversityweek2007.com). During this week a great variety of activities will take place. The Diversity Conference will be a four-day conference. Each day a different theme will be explored. A mini-conference for young students will also be organised during this week. Furthermore, a one-day conference, Companies for Prosperity, will be organised for business organisations that are interested in Diversity management. Prior to the conference the participating companies, the Partners for Prosperity, will meet at various occasions to share knowledge and become more successful in achieving their diversity goals. Furthermore an array of cultural events and sightseeing events will be proposed to add some more international flavour to Diversity Week.

Please visit our website www.seba.nl for more information about our company. Seba is looking forward to your participation in Diversity Week 2007 and our challenge to ‘Turn Diversity into Prosperity’.
